The Four Towers of Chor Minor
Curated visual placeholder for future landmark photography or local illustration.
Sardor arrived at Chor Minor with a sketchbook and one question: why four towers? His guide explained that the building was part of a madrasa and that each dome is said by many locals to symbolize openness to different directions and ideas.
As he drew, Sardor noticed children from different neighborhoods visiting with their families. Tourists asked questions in many languages, and local students answered proudly. The four towers seemed to stand not in competition, but in conversation.
By evening, Sardor's drawing included more than architecture. He added people sharing stories, because he had learned that Bukhara's beauty is strongest when it invites many voices.
